Case Study: Hall, Stairs and Landing Refresh for a Family Home

Project Overview

This project focused on revitalising the hall, stairs, and landing of a family home, completed at the end of December. Instead of removing the existing wallpaper, a high-quality makeover was used to give it a fresh and sharp new look.

The Transformation

Rather than stripping the wallpaper, Zinsser Wallpaper Cover-Up was applied, one of the best products for achieving a smooth and durable finish. The walls were painted in Mizzle by Farrow & Ball, adding a soft, elegant tone to the space. For the woodwork, Crown White Satin was chosen, providing a clean and refined contrast. All materials were supplied by Brewers Paints in Wolverhampton.

The Result

The transformed space now looks crisp, modern, and refreshed while maintaining its original character. The approach of painting over the wallpaper proved to be an efficient and effective solution, breathing new life into the home with minimal disruption.
