Case Study: Custom Scotia Moulding Installation in Truro

Project Overview

As part of a restoration project, custom scotia mouldings were required to achieve a precise and seamless finish. For this, we enlisted the expertise of Dunnett Bespoke Carpentry & Joinery, who supplied and crafted eight 4-metre lengths, cut at a 45° angle for a perfect fit.

The Transformation

Once delivered, the mouldings were primed with Zinsser BIN, ensuring excellent adhesion and durability. This was followed by two coats of Dulux Trade Exterior Weathershield Undercoat, providing a solid and weather-resistant base. The final finish was achieved with one coat of Dulux Trade Exterior Weathershield High Gloss, offering a crisp, long-lasting shine.

The Result

The custom scotia mouldings were expertly installed, seamlessly enhancing the architectural detail of the space.
