Case Study: Heritage Bedroom Restoration in Truro

Project Overview

As part of last year’s heritage project, we took on the transformation of a third bedroom in a historic Truro property. The space needed a considerable amount of preparation and restoration to bring it back to life while maintaining its period charm.

The Challenge

This bedroom required a fair amount of tidying up, including the creation and installation of new wall panels to restore its original character. Precision and attention to detail were crucial to ensure the new elements blended seamlessly with the existing heritage features.

The Transformation

The entire room was colour-drenched in Farrow & Ball Light Blue No.22 🔘 🔵—a timeless shade that shifts beautifully between grey and blue depending on the light. To complete the look, we applied a durable eggshell finish to the woodwork, enhancing the depth and sophistication of the space.

The project was made possible with the skilled support of @oliviapaints1, and all materials were carefully sourced from @duluxuk Truro to ensure a high-quality, heritage-appropriate finish.
