Case Study: West Elevation Restoration of a Heritage Property

Project Overview

This heritage property restoration began in April, focusing on the West Elevation to prepare it for estate agent photography. The project involved a complete renovation of the original 1900s sash windows, shutters, exterior doors, and garden gates, all of which had suffered from extensive rot and wear over time.

The Transformation

Significant repairs were required to restore the sash windows and shutters, carefully preserving their original detailing while reinforcing their structure. The exterior doors and garden gates also underwent extensive refurbishment, ensuring they were not only visually appealing but also well-protected against future damage.

For the final finish, we used Dulux Trade paints, with the carefully selected tints Ochre White and Mossy Stone, enhancing the property’s classic aesthetic while maintaining a timeless and elegant appearance.

The Result

Now fully restored, the West Elevation is ready for its close-up, showcasing its historical charm and craftsmanship. The combination of expert repairs and premium paint finishes ensures long-term durability and an inviting, well-maintained exterior.
